Our Plans for Re-Opening

I hope you and your family are well and are managing to keep reasonably active during this difficult time!

Although the club is still closed, I would like to update you on our plans for re-opening, along with a fantastic offer to help you resume your membership.

We anticipate being able to open the majority of the club early to mid-July, and you can be rest assured we will go over and above the Government Guidelines to ensure you are as safe as possible and able to enjoy your membership again.

Club Kingswood has always been renowned for having extremely high standards of cleaning and hygiene, and we already had many of the current recommendations, including Sanitation Stations in place way before the lockdown came into force.

A full explanation of our Safety Policy will be published on our website, but this is a summary of the extra measures we will have in place:

• A Risk Assessment has been carried out on all areas and activities at the club, to ensure any risks are minimised, copies of which can be viewed by members on request.
• A strict cleaning, sanitation and infection control protocol will be adhered to by all staff.
• All our team of staff will be trained on these new procedures and their part to play in minimising the risk of transmission.
• A forehead temperature check will be conducted on everybody entering the club.  This also applies to our staff.  Those with a higher than acceptable temperature will be denied entry to the club.
• A one-way system will be in operation in certain areas of the club.
• Club Kingswood has been adapted to maintain and allow social distancing between fellow members and staff wherever possible.

Membership Rates

We appreciate that this is a difficult time for all and we would love you and your fellow members to enjoy the club and resume a healthy lifestyle as soon as possible.

All memberships were put on hold for no charge during the period we were closed, and at this stage we anticipate being allowed to re-open early to mid-July.

Therefore if we do open then, all memberships will be reduced to only £17.50 for July and only £39.50 for August and September.

(except for Family Gold and Swim only)

This is an all-inclusive membership and gives you full access to all the facilities that we are allowed to re-open during this period.

Memberships will then revert your pre-lockdown membership rate from 1st October 2020.

All members will also be offered a free one to one session with an instructor to help you set some new goals and get back in to your routine.

Further details will follow as soon as we get a confirmed opening date.
